The legendary singer releases her video performance for:"I put a spell on you".

With her new album Nostalgia set for release 27 October, Annie Lennox is definitely putting in a lot of back work to ensure it really packs a punch. The hit, originally written by Screamin’ Jay Hawkins and later sung via the amazing vocals of Nina Simone is the first teaser for Nostalgia, and was premiered on Radio 2 earlier this week. The track comes from Annie’s upcoming album, which is a collection of the singer - songwriter’s impassioned takes of iconic american compositions that still continue to resonate in a contemporary world.

Through songs like "Memphis in June", "Strange fruit" and "I can dream, can’t I?", she pays tribute to some of the best composers and artists of the 20th century under her unmistakably unique tones. The activist and philanthropist takes on and interprets compositions that have moved her, and strips them back to their emotional and musical core making them completely and unmistakably her own.

Annie said: "I’m delighted to release the first live video performance from "Nostalgia" - the sublime "I put a spell on you" directed by Natalie Johns - the first of several to come."

I Put A Spell on You is out now. Nostalgia is going to be released on 27th of October.
