Dancers know how to make love. They live their life inside a bubble of expression. They create, they laugh, they share. What’s not to enjoy about that? But one thing they’re better at than all the rest of us (other than doing the splits) is sex.

Dancers know how to have sex because they’re masters of the physical world. They do things with their bodies you can only fantasize about. Trust me when I say any man who is dating a dancer knows exactly what I’m talking about. But what is it about dancers that make them such good lovers? Let’s start with the basics.

1) Science says they’re happier people

You might think it’s BS, but it’s actually been studied. One study published in an issue of the Public Library of Science’s genetics journal took DNA from 85 elite dancers and found that they dictate two well-known social and behavioral chemicals in the body: serotonin and vasopressin, i.e. chemicals that make you both happy and social.

Both were found in large quantities among these dancers. A man who is happy will almost always have a high sex drive – yet another reason why you should be looking for your next boyfriend in a Samba class.

2) They’re happy to be dominant and/or submissive

Most dancers are used to doing things from their left and right sides of their brain. They have to think critically (in steps, timing) while also being intuitive (creating a character, interpreting motion with their bodies).

This process broadens their horizons on all kinds of things, including power. A lot of them know how to be dominant and submissive, and usually they enjoy both. This allows wiggle room to play around during foreplay and sex. And let me tell you, it’s more than amazing.

3) The passion, oh, the passion

I don’t know about you, but when you’re sleeping with a man who has so much passion he changes the molecules in the room, there’s no question it’s going to be contagious. Where passion lies, so does connection.

Dancers bring enthusiasm to any situation, and this includes your bedroom. Don’t be shy and let him dance alone. Let him bring you inside the moment.

4) They love to please you

Going back to what I said at the beginning, most dancers have an amazing sex drive because of an overwhelming amount of happy chemicals. A likely result is a desire to not just please themself, but you as well. Simultaneously.

They’re used to the adrenaline of applause and adoration either from a stage, arena, platform or poll, honey. They like giving it right back.

5) Flexibility

This is a rumor that needs to end now. Not all dancers are doing the splits every time they have sex. Some modern dancing, while beautiful, don’t require dancers to be ballerinas. But in my book flexibility doesn’t have anything to do with how far your nose can touch your knee. It’s about strength and conditioning.

Dancers can arch their back in ways you can’t imagine. They can bend their legs in ways you’ve only imagined in your dreams. You gotta see it to believe it.

6) Most of them love their bodies

Not everyone’s waist size is going to be in their late 20s, but no matter how many inches you are in the waist, it takes courage to shake, move, and show off your body for the world to worship. You need confidence, which is hard to fake when you’re a dancer.

Many of the dancers I’ve met love their bodies because it’s their instrument. It’s the reason why they feel happy enough to call themselves a dancer. They love it and seldom apologize for it. That makes them even more sexier.

7) They have better moves because they have better rhythm

Their hips do not lie. They shake it to the left, to the right, front, back, and all ways inappropriate. Bodies are incredible things and it becomes all the more clear when you become the object of a dancer’s affection.

Rhythm is always important during sex. Even if you sway down an awkward direction, they’re great at picking you up and pulling you back where you belong. Why? Because that’s what they do. They make an awkward mover believe he’s the King of the World.

8) They might have kick ass costumes

Have you seen inside a dancer’s closet? I’ve yet to meet a dancer who didn’t have a trunk full of naughty and nice attire in their closets. Probably a collection of costumes from previous shows or events they’ve worked. Trust me, they won’t miss an opportunity to take a sequined anything when it arrives.

9) They take their day out on you

When a man comes home with a light musk of dance sweat, you better run as fast as you can because he’s ready to pounce. The adrenaline has been built and all their energy has been sequestered for the last hour or so, and you need to be there when it explodes.

You know how energetic and happy you feel after a long run? Imagine what it’s like for a dancer who’s been curving, swerving, twerking and popping it in all directions. Light the candles and turn down the lights. It’s going to be a hot night.

10) Their sensitive creatures who know what love Is

Dancers are the most energetic group of people you’ll ever meet in your life. They’re also the most sensitive. They know what love is because they have endless emotion that made to be seen. All they want do is express it.

They bottle them up so much that it has no other choice but to explode through artistic expression. Their energy is incomparable, and anyone who is there to witness it is the luckiest person on the planet.
